The following is a description of the Home Support product. Tech Support including the following scope of services.
Support Hours: 6am-9pm (ET)

Smart Device Connectivity:
  • Remote installation support of devices in categories below
  • Connecting a smart device to the network
  • Ongoing Support for network connectivity issues with home router, hub, and smart device
  • Help with smart device control application on Android and iOS devices
Set Up & Configuration Support:
  • Installation and setup of software applications
  • Assistance with network set up/configuration
  • Configuring data back up to a local storage device
  • Sync mobile devices with PC application
  • Voice based assistance with setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting connectivity with standard mobile and peripheral devices
Performance Optimization:
  • Assistance with general performance issues with your PC, Mac or Tablet
  • Adjust tablet settings to save battery power (such as display and timeout settings)
  • Security Set Up/Clean Up
  • Setting up and securing your wireless network
  • Detecting and removing viruses, spyware and malware
  • General PC Tune Up services including resolving problems such as slow running computer, error messages, persistent pop ups, and system application crashes
General Assistance:
  • Help with basic usage of most common software packages
  • Assistance with uploading photos to internet-based services
  • Assistance with downloading licensed media from the internet
  • Assistance with using/customizing Windows OS features
  • Configure and personalize tablet (i.e., icons, shortcuts, background)
  • Sync files from 1 tablet to 1 computer
General Troubleshooting:
  • PC troubleshooting (hardware issues, browser support, system conflicts, security support, drivers)
  • Diagnosing operating system issues
  • Addressing computer boot up problems
  • Troubleshooting and solving software problems
Minimum system requirements for computer or tablet service:
  • Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, or Mac OS X (10.6 or greater)
  • Android (2.3 or greater), iOS (5.0 or greater), or Windows RT

Home Support Plus, Antivirus & online Backup

The following is a description of the Home Support Plus product. Tech Support including the following scope of services.

Anti-Virus Software & Support:
  • Installation of anti-virus software with a one-year license to help keep your PC free from online threats, such as viruses and worms
  • Assistance to help detect, block and remove viruses, spyware, and adware
  • Automatic scans of your system to block spyware and viruses
Online Backup Software & Support:*

    *Windows-based computers only, Windows Vista and above

  • Complete automatic online backup of all your files (photos, documents, financial records, videos, music, etc.) up to every hour
  • Unlimited storage of all your files from your PC’s internal hard drive
  • Secure file transmission and storage
  • Simple file recovery to your existing or new computer
  • Access to your data from anywhere with an Internet connection
