IDSeal Pro-Tec Uninstall

General Product un-installation Instructions

In the unlikely event you wish to remove our product/s, you can easily uninstall them just as you would any other software on your computer or mobile device:

Windows Products – Automatically:
  1. Click Start in the lower left corner of your screen
  2. From the Programs menu, select the product that you wish to remove.
  3. Select Uninstall.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts until finished.
Windows Products – Manually:
  1. Click Start at the lower left corner of your screen
  2. Click in the “Control Panel” menu button
  3. Choose Programs/Uninstall a Software
  4. Mark the specific product you wish to remove under the applications list
  5. Choose Uninstall
macOS Devices – Manually:
  1. Open your Finder application
  2. Select Applications
  3. Scroll down to find “IDSeal Pro-Tec“
  4. Drag the application icon to your Trash
  5. Enter your macOS device password to confirm the change
Mobile Devices:
  • On your device press the application icon until the menu appears.
  • Inside the Menu, select Uninstall
Windows 10
  1. In the lower left corner of your screen, right click on the Windows flag
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click System on the Settings menu
  4. Select Apps & features from the left pane
  5. In the Apps and Features window, locate, and click on, IDSeal Pro-Tec
  6. Select the Uninstall option
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts until finished

Windows 7:
  1. In the lower left corner of your screen, click Start
  2. Click Control Panel
  3. Click Programs and Features
  4. Click IDSeal Pro-Tec
  5. At the top of the screen, click Uninstall
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts until finished

macOS

  1. Open your Finder application
  2. Select Applications
  3. Scroll down to find “IDSeal Pro-Tec“
  4. Drag the application icon to your Trash
  5. Enter your macOS device password to confirm the change

How to uninstall Pro-Tec (Chrome)

To the right of your address bar, look for the extension icon. Right-click the icon and select Remove from Chrome.

If you don’t see the extension icon:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More tools > Extensions.
  3. Click Remove.
  4. Confirm by clicking Remove.

How to uninstall Pro-Tec (Microsoft Edge)

To remove the extension, choose one of these methods:

  • Right-click the extension icon next to the address bar. Next, select Remove from Microsoft Edge > Remove. 
  • You can also remove the extension by selecting Settings and more  > Extensions, and then selecting Remove under the extension you want to remove. Select Remove again to confirm.

How to uninstall Pro-Tec (Mozilla Firefox)

  1. Type about:plugins into the address bar and press Return to display the About Plugins page.
  2. Each entry in the About Plugins page will have “File:” and “Path:”, showing the name and location of the plugin file. Navigate to the folder shown for IDSeal Pro-Tec.
  3. Rename the file to add an X in front of the filename
    • (for instance, pro-tec becomes Xpro-tec)
  4. The plugin will be removed.
