We’ve enhanced the IDSeal^® experience with a redesigned Member Portal that provides easier access to view your alerts and monitor your personal information. Plus, we’ve added new identity theft protection features like Home Title Monitoring and Personal Data Removal to give you even more control over your personal information.

No, your current coverage continues automatically. You’ll simply log in through the IDSeal Member Portal using your current username and password. All your Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as your name, address, email, phone number, and Social Security number will be transferred with this upgrade. However, you will need to add your monitored information, including bank accounts, medical ID number, additional email addresses, social media accounts, credit cards, etc. again.

The new Member Portal lets you easily manage your account and access all IDSeal identity theft protection features in one place. This includes viewing your identity and financial alerts, monitoring your credit activity, maintaining your personal privacy, accessing your IDSeal Rewards account, managing your subscription, and receiving your license key to activate IDSeal Pro-Tec^®.

The new experience is fully optimized for mobile, so you can manage your protection from any device. We recommend that you bookmark the Member Portal in your browser or add a quick link to your device for easy access. At this time, we do not have an IDSeal mobile app.

The Security Center has been retired, and all its features have been moved into the new and improved Member Portal. Now, there’s one secure place to manage your alerts, monitor your identity, and access every feature of your IDSeal plan — all with a single login.

Your core identity protection remains the same, but you’ll now have access to additional identity protection features, a more user-friendly dashboard, and an easier login experience.

Yes, based on your plan you’ll continue to have access to your credit score and a detailed credit report, just with a more streamlined interface. Simply log in to your Member Portal, click “Credit” from the menu at the top, scroll to the “Credit Report” section, and click “Request Report” to have a new report displayed in your account. A new report can be requested every 6 months.

Completing your account enrollment is quick and easy. Simply log in to your Member Portal at member.idseal.com/login and enter the required personal information to begin the identification authentication process.

If you do not complete account enrollment by authenticating your identity, you will not have access to your identity theft protection features. This means you will not receive critical alerts or be covered by our identity theft insurance² policy.

There are many reasons why trying to authenticate your identity can fail. The most common reasons are limited or no credit history, incorrect answers to identity verification questions, or inaccurate information present in your credit file. If you are asked to verify your identity by answering a series of questions, be sure to read each question carefully — sometimes the answer is “none of the above.” If you feel none of these reasons apply, contact our Customer Service team at 888-325-5865 Monday-Friday between 10 a.m.-7 p.m. ET or send an email to support@idseal.com.

Log in to the Member Portal at member.idseal.com/login using your email address and password you set during account activation. If you have not yet set up a password for your Member Portal, you can do so on the first login screen.

On the Member Portal login page, enter your email address and click “Continue.” On the next page, click “Forgot Password.” You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. The link is only valid for a limited time.

IDSeal continuously scans the web and specialized databases to detect your personal information, including your Social Security number, driver’s license, financial accounts, home title, and more. These daily scans look for suspicious activity across the internet, including the dark web, and alert you right away if potential threats are found.

Since your information can be exposed in many ways, it’s important to stay cautious online and protect your sensitive data with an identity theft protection service like IDSeal.

The evolving nature of cyberthreats and identity theft make it impossible to ensure absolute protection or monitor all online activities. Unfortunately, no security solution on the market can completely eliminate the risk of cybercrime. IDSeal does not guarantee complete protection against cybercrime or identity theft. While we offer powerful protection, we cannot monitor all activities of every financial institution or guarantee comprehensive monitoring. It is essential that individuals take proactive measures to safeguard their personal information and prevent unauthorized access.

A credit lock is a service offered either for free or as part of a paid subscription by credit bureaus that temporarily restricts access to your credit file. A credit freeze is always free and available to everyone under federal law. The main difference is convenience where a credit lock is typically faster to toggle on and off, making it ideal for those who frequently apply for credit, whereas a credit freeze requires you to contact each of the three credit bureaus — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — and set up a security freeze with each one

A credit freeze is the most secure option and is recommended by consumer advocates. It’s free and prevents anyone from accessing your credit report until you lift the freeze. A credit lock offers more convenience, allowing you to lock or unlock your credit quickly through a service or mobile app. However, it may require a fee. Choose a freeze for maximum protection — or a lock if you need faster, frequent access to your credit report.

Freezing your credit — also called a credit freeze or security freeze — is one of the most effective ways to protect against identity theft. When you freeze your credit, lenders and creditors cannot access your credit report, which prevents anyone (including identity thieves) from opening new accounts in your name. A credit freeze stops fraudulent credit applications, is completely free, and does not affect your credit score. You can also lift or remove the freeze anytime if you need to apply for credit.

You must contact each of the three major credit bureaus individually. The fastest way is online by visiting:

You can also freeze your credit by phone or mail. Each bureau will require personal details such as your full name, date of birth, Social Security number, and addresses from the past two years.

Home Title Monitoring runs automatically, continuously scanning your property records and sends you alerts when anything changes, including unauthorized changes such as someone attempting to transfer ownership of your home title or add themselves to your deed. This feature is not available in all plans. View our Plan Pricing to see which plans offer Home Title Monitoring and use the "Change Plans" tool in your Member Portal to upgrade.

Once your account is activated, IDSeal automatically locates any home titles in your name and continuously scans public property databases for activity. If changes are detected, you’ll receive an alert right away in the Identity section of your Member Portal, helping protect your home and property from potential title fraud.

Yes, this feature is exclusively available to homeowners. If you rent or lease, you’ll still benefit from all other IDSeal identity theft protection features.

Our Home Title Monitoring feature will send you an alert via email right away if any activity appears in your property records. You will also be able to see details from all the alerts in the “Identity” section of your Member Portal.

IDSeal Privacy is our new personal data removal tool. It helps you reclaim your personal information by automatically finding and removing your details from people-finder and data broker websites.

Data broker sites collect and sell your personal details, like your address, relatives, and phone number. This public data — which can be easily accessed by cybercriminals and used to piece together your identity — can increase your risk of scams, identity theft, and fraud. Similarly, personal information such as your full name, current and past addresses, and phone number can appear on people-finder sites and land in the hands of cybercriminals who exploit it. Personal Data Removal helps reduce this exposure.

We search for your information across major people-finder and data broker websites, then automatically submit removal requests on your behalf when possible or send you alerts with guidance on how to remove your information. While most data removals are temporary, we continuously monitor these sites since they reload data from different sources, ensuring your data stays removed as long as your IDSeal subscription stays active.

No action is needed to get started. IDSeal will automatically scan the web to identify where your personal information appears on people-finder and data broker sites. You’ll find these results in the “Privacy” section of your Member Portal, where you can easily review any sites that contain your information. Sometimes, you may need to take additional steps to remove your data or authorize the removal activity. In those cases, we’ll provide clear instructions to guide you through the process.

Credit monitoring tracks and alerts you of changes to your credit reports, such as new accounts, hard inquiries, or drops in your credit score. It’s one of the best ways to catch early signs of identity theft and protect your financial health.

Yes, IDSeal’s Premier Pro plan provides 3 Bureau Credit Report Monitoring across Experian®, Equifax®, and TransUnion®. Monitoring all three bureaus ensures you don’t miss critical alerts, since not all lenders report to the same bureau.

Yes! Based on your plan, you will have access to a detailed 3 Bureau Credit Report and a Credit Score Tracker with VantageScore 3.0, so you can monitor your credit health and track improvements over time.

VantageScore 3.0 is a credit score model developed by Experian®, TransUnion®, and Equifax®. It is used by some but not all lenders and insurers. Your lender may not use VantageScore 3.0, so don't be surprised if they give you a credit score that's different from your VantageScore 3.0.

Our Instant Credit Application Monitoring alerts you in near real-time when someone applies for credit using your personal information. This helps you act quickly to stop fraudulent applications before they impact your credit score.

Payday loans are often targeted by identity thieves because they’re easy to open quickly. IDSeal’s Payday Loan Monitoring alerts you if your information is used to apply for these high-risk loans, helping prevent costly fraud.

No, IDSeal uses soft inquiries to check your credit reports, which do not impact your credit score. Hard inquiries only occur when you apply for new credit.

IDSeal provides real-time alerts for changes to your credit file, including new accounts, inquiries, and payday loan applications. Fast alerts mean you can take immediate action to protect your identity.

To activate your IDSeal Pro-Tec^® device protection, log in to the Member Portal, choose Device in the top menu, and select “Activate Pro-Tec” in the IDSeal Pro-Tec license section to obtain your license key. Next, download the IDSeal Pro-Tec app onto your devices (cell phone, tablet, or computer) and enter the license key to fully activate this feature.

To request an IDSeal Pro-Tec license key, log in to the Member Portal, choose Device in the top menu, and select “Activate Pro-Tec” in the IDSeal Pro-Tec license section. Your IDSeal Pro-Tec key will be emailed once it is generated, in addition to being made available in this section of your Member Portal.

To download the IDSeal Pro-Tec app, log in to your Member Portal and select Device in the top menu. Then scroll to the "Download the App" section to access the appropriate download link for your device.

For Windows and Mac computers: After the download is complete, locate the IDSeal Pro-Tec installation file and open it. This will initiate the installation. Then, click the “Install” button and wait for the installation process to finish. Once completed, enter your license key to successfully install IDSeal Pro-Tec on your computer.

For Apple mobile devices: Use the email that you used to register with IDSeal as your log-in email and enter your Pro-Tec license key (including dashes) as your password.

For Android mobile devices: Enter your Pro-Tec license key to activate the app on your phone once installed.

If you ever need to remove IDSeal Pro-Tec, you can uninstall it from your computer or mobile device following the standard procedure for removing software. Locate the installed IDSeal Pro-Tec app and proceed with the uninstallation process as you would for any other software.

If you have exhausted all uses for your IDSeal Pro-Tec license key and would like to activate it on a new device, chat with a Customer Service team member on www.IDSeal.com, or call 888-325-5865 Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. ET. Uninstalling the IDSeal Pro-Tec app on a device will not deactivate the license key used on that device.

Once identified, these passwords can be encrypted and securely stored on your device in an offline location. An Encrypted Documents Vault provides a protected, centralized location for storing sensitive electronic files locally on your device. By utilizing encryption and masking techniques, this vault helps shield your documents from unauthorized discovery or access.

When you reactivate your IDSeal subscription, your Rewards account will unlock again, and you’ll pick up exactly where you left off. Your points will also begin accumulating again.
